Today's Challanges

For generations, schoolhouses served as the foundation of education in our townships and municipalities, instilling values of personal responsibility, community service, and civic duty along with academic development.

Uniting Pilgrims and Puritans: One of the greatest challenges of early colonial education was uniting the Pilgrims and Puritans, two groups with distinct approaches to faith, governance, and discipline.

1. The Massachusetts Act of 1642 set forth the revolutionary idea that parents and masters bore the responsibility of educating their children and apprentices.

2. The Old Deluder Satan Act of 1647 expanded this responsibility, mandating that towns of fifty families hire a schoolmaster and towns of one hundred families establish a grammar school.

This historical struggle underscores the ongoing balance between faith-based education and personal freedom.

Over time, both groups had to work out their differences, creating an education system that blended academics with Biblical instruction. They found it in the One-room schoolhouse.

It’s time to exit the failing public school system and embrace a return to education that nurtures faith, intellect, and character.

Unfortunately, not every parent has the time, money, resources, support, or patience to homeschool. Even if they did, finding space in their home is a challenge all on its own.

Today's Solution

Future of Education

At Gatekeepers Academy, our solution incorporates renovated SF residential properties as today's Modern schoolhouse.

These Modern Schoolhouses offer a smaller, nurturing, home-school like environment where parents can actively engage in their child’s education.

Families can come together to share teaching responsibilities and provide a community for their children to learn interact with other families.

With this model, families can also work together planning activities, events and provide a supportive learning environment for their children.

Gatekeepers Academy Schoolhouses also allow families to share the costs, the time, and responsibilities of homeschooling and to work together to create a community that supports their children's education.

We view our role and responsibility as an extension of the home and church life. We want to reenforce principles that develop your child's Spirit, build their character and help them develop a sense of responsibility.

Future of Education

One-room schoolhouses were the backbone of early American education, producing generations of literate, innovative, and civically responsible citizens.

These institutions honored God, upheld moral values, and laid the foundation for what became one of the most well-educated and prosperous nations in history.

Gatekeepers Academy intends to use that model and open schoolhouses to rebuild our communities.

By fostering generations of well-educated, service-minded individuals, we ensure that our community remains strong, resilient, and faithful to the principles that have guided us for centuries.
